The Reverend Noel Bailey was born in Providence, is now back in RI for the 4th time, and hopes that this stay is longer than some of the others. She was ordained Priest at St. Michael’s, Bristol, in May 1988, and since then has served in the Dioceses of Albany, Western Massachusetts, and NH, and has been a chaplain for hospice. Noel has two adult children (although her son promises he’s never going to grow up!) living in MA, and three grandsons. She thinks that every encounter has the possibility to be a teaching or transformative moment, and is grateful for the opportunities for pastoral care with homebound parishioners and in nursing homes. She has a passion for creation justice and for sharing God’s generous inclusion with others. In her free time Noel likes to walk and photograph nature, and to curl up with her cats and a good detective story. She is Dean of the Narragansett Deanery, and serves as Chaplain to Retired Clergy, and on Diocesan Council and the Board of Episcopal Charities.
“Fear not, little flock. It is your father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
