The Rev. Robert P. Travis

Head Pastor

Father Rob goes by Father so that he remembers his duty to the people of God whom he serves. He’s been ordained since 2006, serving in Florida and Tennessee and before that served as a youth minister in Long Island, NY. He is a cradle Episcopalian and son of a an Episcopal priest. His three children, Evangeline, Annalise and Jack are the loves of his life and he learns more about God through them than from just about anyone else. He loves his dog and chickens, swimming outdoors, art and music. His professional passions are Missions, Healing and Youth, but he loves to be with Children of God of all ages. He speaks a few languages, so the Gift of Tongues mostly finds expression without the angelic one. This partnership of two parishes is the most interesting experimental job he has had to date. It will be interesting to see what God does with it.

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
(Micah 6:8)
